Position Overview

Aquatech Skin Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Plant Maintenance Worker to ensure the optimal performance of our facility's mechanical systems. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make necessary adjustments and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespeople for more significant repairs.
  • Conduct minor appliance repairs to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and guide other maintenance personnel, providing leadership and instruction.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Engage in research to assess the feasibility, design, and performance of various mechanical components and systems.
  • Analyze the dynamics and vibrations of mechanical structures to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Supervise the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Create and manage maintenance schedules, standards, and programs to optimize operations.
  • Investigate mechanical failures and unexpected maintenance challenges to identify solutions.
  • Plan and manage projects, including preparing estimates for materials, costs, and timelines, along with design specifications.
  • Review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates, supervising technicians and technologists.
Work Environment

The role requires the ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months in a similar role.
