About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technical Support Representative to join our team at Inland Truck & Equipment. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and liaison services to our customers and equipment manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery and setup of new Tigercat Processing heads and Traction Line/ Harvest Line steep slope logging equipment.
  • Identify and resolve common failures across the business, working closely with equipment manufacturers to find solutions.
  • Provide technical support to service managers for complex equipment repair and troubleshooting issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers on projects that enhance product and service offerings.
  • Investigate product reliability problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the introduction of new products and services from equipment manufacturers.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Health & Safety Manual.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification and/or forestry equipment operator experience.
  • Industry experience in heavy-duty equipment sales and service.
  • Strong technical experience in heavy-duty equipment operation and repair.
  • Experience with forestry processing heads and steep slope logging equipment.
  • Ability to travel regularly to Inland locations, customer sites, and manufacturer facilities.
  • Preferred knowledge of Tigercat, Case, and Link Belt products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $115,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including extended medical, dental, prescription benefits, RRSP with employer matching, long-term and short-term disability, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, paid time off, and on-going training opportunities.
