Abacus Service Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Propulsion System Battery Management System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting design and releasing teams in manufacturing and assembly plants.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Verify Client Calibrations
- Perform Battery EOL Testing and Troubleshooting
- Support Problem Solving Activities
- Aid in Change Control and Establishment of Clean Points
- Establish and Document New Requirements and Best Practices
- Support Vehicle Triage and Systems Level Troubleshooting
- Analyze Functional Models and Document Controls and SW Issues
- Work Closely with the Center of Competency
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Manufacturing Experience
- Combination of Business Focus, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Experience with Data Acquisition and Development Diagnostic Tools
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Ability to Work within a Team and with a Proactive Attitude
- Proficiency with Application Engineering Principles
- Process Oriented and High Attention to Detail
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- High Voltage Battery or High Voltage Powertrain Experience
- Experience with Electronic System Level Troubleshooting and Embedded Controls/Complex Function Root Cause Analysis
- Understanding of Diagnostics Fundamentals
