Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time pharmacist to enhance our pharmacy services. The pharmacist will be instrumental in ensuring safe and effective medication therapy while fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient care and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered clinical services, including medication reviews and disease management.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.
- Evaluate the appropriateness of prescribed drug therapies.
- Monitor and support patient adherence to medication regimens.
- Gather and record pertinent patient and medication information.
- Advise on over-the-counter products and dietary supplements.
- Address patient inquiries requiring clinical expertise and therapeutic knowledge.
- Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in executing restricted activities.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support pharmacy operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Kroll software.
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Must possess relevant certifications on their pharmacy license.
- Willingness to lead community health initiatives, including vaccination clinics and health promotion programs.
