About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Helper to join our team at 1924375 Alberta Inc. As a Millwright Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our millwrights in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist millwrights in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities as needed
  • Assist in the estimation of costs for installing and maintaining equipment or services
  • Assemble small transformers, small electrical motors, and transmissions
  • Install machinery and equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Willing to relocate
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
  • Flexibility, reliability, and team player
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
