About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team at Intelcom. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload vehicles, transport materials, and prepare loads for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and equipment within the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, including daily inspections and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Prepare loads for delivery, including identifying, locating, and securing materials as per shipping instructions.
  • Arrange loads onto trailers, considering safety and security, and minimizing potential damage during transport.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of prepared loads, taking corrective action as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and loading is an asset.
  • Self-motivated and organized individual with strong communication skills.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and other material handling devices.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work safely and follow company protocols.
