Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team. As a Carpenter Assistant, you will assist our experienced carpenters in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, assisting with framing, and cleaning up construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading Materials
You will be responsible for loading and unloading construction materials, such as lumber, drywall, and roofing materials, from trucks and equipment.
Assisting with FramingYou will assist our experienced carpenters in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
Cleaning Up Construction SitesYou will be responsible for cleaning up construction sites, including removing rubble and debris, and cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
Other TasksYou may be required to perform other tasks as needed, such as tending to equipment, assisting with transportation, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements- Physical Demands
The job requires physical demands, including handling heavy loads, working in a fast-paced environment, and being able to work at heights.
Attention to DetailYou must have attention to detail and be able to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
Team PlayerYou must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with our experienced carpenters and other team members.
Dependability and FlexibilityYou must be dependable and flexible, able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
