Position Overview

As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will play a crucial role in delivering vital medical services across various industrial environments. Your expertise will be essential in safeguarding and supporting personnel in challenging settings, including remote operations. Each day presents unique challenges that require both bravery and empathy, as you directly impact the well-being of individuals through your actions.

Work Schedule:
- Night shifts available, traveling from the general practitioner to the operational site.
- Flexible day shifts with accommodations provided.
- Day shifts with staff housing included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies within an industrial context.
  • Evaluate and address patients' injuries, determining appropriate treatment plans.
  • Administer first aid and support to injured employees.
  • Communicate effectively with emergency services regarding the status and treatment of injured workers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of medical vehicles and clinic areas.
  • Adhere to all reporting and communication protocols concerning incidents and patient care.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered as a Primary Care Paramedic with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Certification in H2S Alive.
  • CPR certification as a Health Care Provider (HCP) or Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent).
  • Completion of Common Safety Orientation (CSO).

  • Proven ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, particularly when dealing with distressed patients.
  • A compassionate yet decisive demeanor, capable of managing emergencies with a calm and logical approach.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize urgent medical issues alongside routine tasks.
  • Dependable and capable of thriving in a dynamic team environment.
