About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Next Level Childcare Society. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Assist in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Storytelling and Engagement: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Assist in keeping records and submitting written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Child Care and Support: Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits. Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Staff Meetings and Professional Development: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
