Position Overview:
The Senior Analyst, Strategy will report directly to the Senior Manager of Strategy and will play a crucial role within the Strategy team. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional leaders and the executive leadership team to drive various strategic and operational initiatives. The Senior Analyst will be instrumental in supporting the divisional strategic planning process, targeted strategy formulation, and ongoing competitive and macroeconomic analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Corporate Strategy Development: Facilitate the Division Strategic Planning Process, both annual and long-term. Work alongside cross-functional teams to assess business opportunities and formulate capital investment proposals.
  • Support Strategic Priorities and Projects: Provide expert guidance, problem-solving capabilities, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Lead or assist cross-functional business leaders in crafting new strategic initiatives and preparing project plans for effective implementation. Ensure seamless communication and change management with corporate and in-field business partners.
  • External Environment Monitoring: Keep abreast of macroeconomic trends, competitive activities, and retail and customer dynamics.
  • Executive Material Development: Create high-quality presentations and materials for the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Prioritize the customer perspective as the foundation for all strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field such as consulting, finance, internal strategy, or professional services.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering is required.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to understand, develop, and evaluate financial and strategic models.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities and comfort with ambiguity.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of delivering high-quality work under pressure while maintaining a strong sense of ownership.
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for retail and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior management.
  • A positive, action-oriented, and resourceful mindset.
  • Financial designations such as CPA, CFA, or CBV are considered an asset but are not mandatory.

Working Conditions:
Minimal travel is required for this position (
