About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Calgary Hijabs & Clothing Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate daily/shift payments received, and reconcile with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work under pressure, multitask, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic retail environment.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and physical stamina to stand for long periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
