Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Vitality Health Foods is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff to meet the needs of the department
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees
  • Coordinate and assign work to staff, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are adequate
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 3-4 years of experience in a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
