WHAT'S THE JOB?

Dexterra Group is seeking a part-time cleaner to work Saturday-Monday, 8pm-4am, starting at $16.50

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to our clients. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Strip and wax floors to a high standard
  • Clean carpets and move furniture as required
  • Complete tasks to a high quality standard
  • Work at various locations as needed
  • Read and explain MSDS sheets (training provided)
  • Complete required safety training

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring good physical and mental health
  • Ability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach high and low, lift and carry up to 25 lbs. for 3 to 4 hours per shift
  • Perform repetitive manual tasks
  • Walk large areas of floor space
  • Maneuver large machinery successfully

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail
  • Intrinsic self-motivation driving high-quality work
  • Thrives in hands-on environments and readily follows direction
  • WHMIS certification preferred (training available if needed)
  • First aid training advantageous
