As a key member of the Rehabilitation Services team, the Hearing Specialist plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive auditory care.
Work Environment:
This position is situated within a collaborative health care setting, focusing on the assessment and management of hearing disorders across various age groups, including infants, children, and adults.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of hearing capabilities.
- Develop and implement tailored hearing service plans.
- Provide educational resources and training for parents, caregivers, and the community.
- Supervise and mentor students and provisional members in the field.
- Collaborate with other health care professionals to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Active registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.
- Eligibility for membership with national audiology associations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools.
- Bilingual proficiency is essential for designated roles.

- Successful completion of background checks as mandated.

- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are necessary.
