About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright / Mechanic to join our team at The Peak Group of Companies. As a Millwright / Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand equipment specifications and requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
  • Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in equipment installation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Practical experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of tools and materials, including hand and power tools.
  • Basic literacy in reading, writing, and arithmetic, with advanced expertise in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or other relevant areas.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
