Role Overview

As a Canadian Immigration Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing the immigration process for clients. Your responsibilities will include liaising with clients, collecting necessary documentation, reviewing applications, and ensuring timely submissions. You will handle various immigration cases, encompassing economic, family, and business immigration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-assessments and consultations to evaluate clients' eligibility for work in Canada.
  • Develop tailored immigration strategies and action plans based on individual client needs.
  • Manage administrative tasks to facilitate the onboarding process, including preparing agreements and proposals.
  • Collect and review documentation prior to final application submission.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients to gather required information and provide updates.
  • Research relevant government and provincial resources to inform case strategies.
  • Prepare and draft necessary documents and correspondence for client applications.
  • Ensure compliance with timelines and deadlines, recording all progress in the case management system.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments with clients and partners as needed.
  • Stay informed about changes in immigration policies and regulations to educate team members.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal, corporate, or startup environment.
  • Possession of an RCIC license to practice immigration.
  • CICC license required for practice in Quebec.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Proven client service abilities, with experience in direct client interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping clients informed.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Zendesk, and Slack is a plus.
