In the role of Miner, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will be integral to the development of mining operations and the extraction of ore. Your responsibilities will include various mining tasks such as scaling, drilling, and bolting, all while emphasizing safety, product integrity, environmental sustainability, productivity, and effective labor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out tasks to maintain safety and efficiency in extraction processes
- Perform ventilation duties as required
- Execute any additional tasks as directed by your supervisor
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights
- Possession of a valid explosives permit or eligibility to obtain one
- Good physical fitness and capability to work at heights
Comprehensive training for these roles is provided internally. Candidates must successfully complete all necessary internal assessments and training programs.
