The Personal Financial Consultant is accountable to the Branch Director and oversees a portfolio of individual clients while actively expanding it. This position focuses on fostering client loyalty through tailored advice, positioning yourself as their primary financial resource.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate sales strategies customized to client profiles to enhance loyalty;
  • Engage with clients to assist them in identifying and prioritizing their financial aspirations and projects;
  • Evaluate and determine clients' financing and investment requirements based on their financial circumstances;
  • Maintain and nurture ongoing business relationships with both existing and prospective clients;
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of the branch's business strategy in alignment with set objectives;
  • Stay informed about the products and services provided by the Bank, as well as trends within the industry and competitors;
  • Possess a solid understanding and apply the latest knowledge in taxation, products, regulations, and compliance;
  • Perform any additional tasks as required by the role or as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, finance, economics, or marketing;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the banking or finance sector. All combinations of experience and education will be considered.
  • Specific Skills:
  • Accreditation for mutual fund sales;
  • Understanding of economic conditions, the business landscape, and market dynamics;
  • In-depth knowledge of financial products and services;
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in administration, finance, or economics;
  • Experience: At least two (2) years in banking or finance;
  • Any other relevant combination of education and experience;
  • Possession of a mutual fund representative license in Canada;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services;
  • Sales and negotiation capabilities;
  • Bilingualism is essential.

*Professional proficiency in both French and English is mandatory, as the role involves frequent written and verbal communication on complex matters with internal and external stakeholders in both languages.
