We are seeking a skilled Fish Processing Labourer to join our team at By the Water Shellfish (2012) Inc. As a key member of our processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of fish and shellfish.
Key Responsibilities- Transport fish and shellfish to the work area, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Weigh and record the weight of fish and shellfish, then pack them in ice to preserve quality.
- Clean and maintain machines and immediate work areas to prevent contamination and ensure productivity.
- Sort fish according to species, weight, and destination to meet customer requirements.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
- Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Availability to work 40-55 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules.
