Job Title: Walking School Bus Chaperone

Job Summary:

The Walking School Bus Chaperone plays a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a group of students along a designated route, promoting safe walking practices, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a group of students along a designated walking route to and from school.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  • Model safe walking practices and promote a positive attitude among students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to school administrators.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with students and others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition, including sight, hearing, and mobility.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in all types of weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk long distances.
  • Must be at the designated pick-up location at the designated time.
