Job Title: Senior Legal Advisor

About the Role:

The Senior Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the bank's management and employees on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, risk management, and compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the bank's business operations and will be able to provide practical and effective legal solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the bank's management and employees on corporate governance, risk management, and compliance matters.
  • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide advice on complex legal issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination on legal matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and provide guidance on how to comply with them.
Requirements:
  • LL.B. or J.D. degree from a recognized university.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
