Job Title: Automotive Body Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Mechanic to join our team at Olie's Repair. As an Automotive Body Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors

  • Recruits Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives (e.g., job fairs, outreach programs)
  • Assists with immediate transition needs of Veterans (e.g., relocation, housing)
  • Offers workshops, counseling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce (e.g., adapting to different organizational structures)
  • Supports Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market
  • Offers flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace (e.g., gradually increasing hours and responsibilities)
