Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising sales workers, authorizing payments, ordering merchandise, and resolving customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are working efficiently
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate records
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure smooth store operations
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic security clearance and bondable
Working Conditions:

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
