Position Overview

We are seeking a

Senior Software Developer

to contribute to our innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from initial concept to final implementation.
  • Engage in design and code evaluations to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide constructive feedback during performance assessments.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Prepare and present design proposals that address cost, timelines, and alternative strategies to meet current and future requirements.
  • Lead the development of technical feasibility studies to establish project timelines.
  • Design, code, and conduct testing/debugging of software applications.
  • Establish methods, metrics, and evaluation criteria for products, processes, and personnel.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or at least 8 years of related experience with a High School diploma or relevant certification in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Essential Experience:

  • Proficient in Windows and networked system software development.
  • At least 2 years of experience in web programming.
  • A minimum of 2 years of extensive use of MS Visual Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of C# and .NET programming.

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient coding skills in C++ and C#.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and languages.
  • Ability to create design specifications, test plans, and apply structured design methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of software analysis and design techniques.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong grasp of wired and wireless communication protocols and networking standards.
  • A results-driven individual with a high level of self-motivation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Studio 2010.
  • Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
