Senior Java Developer - Angular Expert

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with expertise in Angular to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages, with a strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Application Development: Hands-on experience in application development, deployment automation, and pipelines, with a focus on delivering high-quality software products and services.
  • Programming Languages: 6+ years of experience in foundational development languages (Java, Python), with a strong understanding of programming concepts, best practices, and software engineering principles.
  • Operating Systems: Experience working with Linux and bash, with a strong understanding of command-line interfaces, scripting, and system administration.
  • Event Streaming Platforms: Experience with Apache Kafka and other event streaming platforms, with a focus on building scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures.
  • Agile Development: Experience executing projects as a team in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum), with a focus on collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality software products.
  • User Interface Frameworks: 5+ years of experience with user interface frameworks/platforms (Angular, React, etc.), with a focus on building responsive, user-friendly, and scalable interfaces.
  • Databases: Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, with a strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
  • DevOps: Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker), with a focus on automating software delivery, improving team efficiency, and ensuring high-quality software products.
  • Source Control: Experience using source control for feature-driven development in Git, with a focus on collaboration, version control, and code review.
  • Artifactory: Experience working with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries, with a focus on building efficient and scalable software systems and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using Java and Angular.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user guides.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve software development processes and products.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and Angular.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products and services.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience working with Linux, bash, and other operating systems.
  • Experience with event streaming platforms, such as Apache Kafka.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Kanban and Scrum.
  • Experience with user interface frameworks/platforms, such as Angular and React.
  • Experience with databases, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
