Ironworker Specialist

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking experienced journeyperson ironworkers with live plant experience to join our team at Ledcor Industrial in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Erect steel structures, pre-assemble panelization, bridges, and gangways
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to correctly erect structures
• Previous experience with layout, man lifts in congested areas, and connecting mods is considered an asset
• Rigging and heavy lift experience: working with construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment
• Ensure work is completed within deadlines
• Communicate work progress and safety performance to site supervision
• Must be flexible with duties to support project requirements

Requirements:

• Must possess a Journeyperson structural or generalist certificate
• Previous experience in an industrial or live plant setting required
• Communication and team player attitude
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Benefits and Perks:

• Competitive hourly wage of $51.00 per hour, with overtime rates applying after 8 hours/day

• Shift-based position with 14 days on and 7 days off, working 10 hours per day
• Site-based camp accommodations provided
