Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a part-time Admissions Coordinator to support our Long-Term Care home in Goderich, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with resident admission process, including tours, admission, transfers, discharge, and occupancy tracking.
- Support rate reductions, reporting, and government documents.
- Help residents and families with setup and removal of services.
- Develop calendars and meeting schedules.
- Act as liaison with families and advocate for residents to ensure their rights are respected.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire safety, occupational health and safety, environment, and infection control.
- Maintain internal records and prepare reports as required; maintain confidentiality of financial, personnel, and resident data.
- Handle payments from families and respond to billing inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service and present a positive image of the facility to the public.
- Post-secondary diploma in office or business administration (or comparable) preferred.
- Office and organizational skills with a minimum of one year experience.
- Knowledge and experience with office equipment, including personal computers and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety practices, principles, and legislation.
- Ability to read and write English and understand complex verbal and written instructions.
