Certified Resident Services Attendant

Verve Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Resident Services Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents.
Accountability Objective:Our Certified Resident Services Attendants are responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work closely with our Health & Wellness Manager to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting independence and dignity for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to residents, adhering to their care plans and promoting comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Collaborate with the care team to provide feedback on care plans and ensure residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Perform nursing care procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining accurate and legible documentation.
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional condition, reporting changes and maintaining health records in compliance with legislations.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as serving meals and beverages, and maintaining residents' living spaces.
- Participate in shift report to oncoming staff, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.
- Utilize equipment and supplies effectively, adhering to policies and procedures, manufacturer's instructions, and health and safety regulations.
- Minimum of grade 12 education required.
- Has obtained certificate from an approved Health Care Aide or PSW program.
- Certified in Emergency First Aid, and CPR is required.
- Previous experience as a Health Care Aide/Resident Services Attendant working with seniors is considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in the English language, nurturing excellent human relations with residents, families, and other team members.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and to evaluate and meet resident care needs, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
