The role of a Food Counter Attendant involves providing exceptional service in a fast-paced dining environment. This position is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the quality of food service.
Key Responsibilities- Table Setting: Arrange clean dishes, cutlery, and other dining essentials in serving areas.
- Supply Management: Restock condiments and other necessary items at tables and serving stations.
- Take-Out Service: Package food for take-out orders efficiently.
- Food Preparation: Portion, wrap, and prepare simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Customer Interaction: Serve patrons at counters or buffet setups and take their orders accurately.
- Stock Maintenance: Ensure refrigerators and salad bars are well-stocked and organized.
- Sanitation Duties: Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
- Employment Type: Permanent position with a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: Proficiency in English is necessary.
