Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Automotive Mechanic Assistant to join our team at A.M. FORD SALES LTD. As a key member of our service department, you will assist our experienced technicians in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist technicians in moving tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Reliability and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

This role is physically demanding and requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.

Language

The primary language of work is English, with a 30 to 35 hour workweek.
