Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair Flowserve Control Valve Business Unit products in the field.
  • Solicit the sale and installation of spare parts.
  • Repair and overhaul competitor's valves when needed.
  • Provide technical phone support to customers.
  • Assist Flowserve QRC's when requested and available.
  • Assist the engineering department with failure evaluations.
  • Initiate Non Conformance Reports (NCR's).
  • Conduct diagnostic testing on control valves and interpret the results.

Requirements:

  • College or technical school; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
