Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Clinician will be tasked with delivering high-quality clinical services to our clients. This role demands a commitment to excellence in service delivery while adhering to the Health and Safety Management System standards at Wood's Homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to a diverse caseload of children, youth, and families through individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Conduct client assessments as required and provide comprehensive written reports in accordance with case management protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of ongoing clinical activities, adhering to professional and case management standards.
  • Offer clinical consultation to various Wood's Homes programs as needed, while enhancing personal clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff, practicum students, and community professionals upon request.
  • Engage actively with community resources related to Wood's Homes clientele and initiatives.
  • Participate in research and specialized projects as assigned.
  • Report any workplace hazards or unsafe conditions to the direct supervisor promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Psychology, Social Work, Family Nursing, Art Therapy, or a related discipline.
  • Must be licensed in accordance with the Health Professions Act and adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Current proof of professional registration may be necessary for specific qualifications.
  • Ability to complete written documentation within established timelines.
  • Must possess personal transportation.
  • Demonstrated personal suitability for the role.
