Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team. As a Snow Plow Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a combo plow unit to remove snow and ice from local roads and highways. You will also be required to maintain accurate documentation, perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, and meet call-in requirements during winter storm events.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a combo plow unit to remove snow and ice from local roads and highways
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment
  • Meet call-in requirements during winter storm events
  • Work in extreme weather conditions

Requirements

  • DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to operate a loader and perform other maintenance duties
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Previous experience in winter-works operations
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
