Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma or a non-university certificate from a program lasting between one to two years, or have equivalent experience in a related field.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests and analyses utilizing various physical and chemical separation techniques.
  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and apparatus.
  • Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses.
  • Compile and interpret records for analytical studies.
  • Assist in developing sampling and analysis programs to uphold quality standards.
  • Prepare solutions of gases or liquids, reagents, and sample formulations.
  • Perform physical and chemical laboratory tests and clerical duties, including maintaining filing and record systems.
  • Analyze technical documents and reports, as well as test results and instrument readings.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in analytical techniques such as spectroscopy, microscopy, and corrosion studies.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
