We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Support Staff member to assist in our vibrant kitchen environment at Pho 99 Restaurant. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our food service operations.

Educational Requirements
  • No formal education, certificate, or diploma required.
Work Environment

The position is set within a dynamic restaurant and food service atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other items to dining areas and prepare tables for service.
  • Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and seating areas.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen, including work surfaces, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Safely handle and store cleaning supplies.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in various storage locations including refrigerators and cupboards.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and refuse appropriately.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting as needed.
Physical Demands

This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
