About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Superintendent to join our team at Rohit. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our multi-family construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Site Superintendent in the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations, conducting regular quality control checks and reporting any issues to the Site Superintendent and Safety Supervisor.
  • Maintain construction site cleanliness and safety, including garbage and debris removal, snow removal, sweeping, and pressure washing.
  • Perform deficiency repairs, including framing repairs, minor taping and paint repairs, and installing locks and miscellaneous hardware.
  • Install and maintain temporary walkways, stairs, ramps, and handrails to ensure site safety.
  • Complete weekly hazard assessments and report any safety issues to the Site Superintendent and Safety Supervisor.
  • Assist the Site Superintendent with quality control checks on framing, insulation, foundation, and pre-occupancy, as per company standards.
  • Communicate with trades and suppliers as instructed.
