Trillium Health Partners is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellent patient care.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- BCLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Current Coronary Care Level 1 and 2 Certificate preferred for ICU and required for Cardiac Units.
- Recent experience and exposure in Intensive Care nursing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years acute med/surg experience preferred.
- Advanced physical assessment skills.
- Ability to think critically and effectively in emergency situations.
- Highly effective decision making, problem solving, and organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and assessment skills.
- History of ongoing professional development and self-directed learning.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and commitment to customer service and teamwork.
- Experienced in patient education and sharing knowledge of expected outcomes and care.
- Positive attendance and work record essential.
