About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
