Position Overview

The York Region District School Board is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Relief Custodians. This position is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of school facilities.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Assist in setting up and taking down equipment for school events.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • Prior experience in custodial or maintenance work is preferred, but training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
