S I Systems is seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Security Architect to support a large mainframe implementation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting solutions that meet the client's security needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and vendors to design and implement secure mainframe solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery.
  • Work closely with mainframe system programmers and project managers to deliver secure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including roadmaps, design documents, diagrams, and project plans, using relevant tools.
  • Gather business and technical requirements to inform solution design.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across multiple customers, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
  • Mediate and manage architectural conditions, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Educate and mentor teams on architectural techniques and best practices.
  • Accurately document technical artifacts and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, including SMP/E, system utilities, ACF2, RACF, IO Gen, Assembler Language, BMC, IBM Scheduler software, TSO, ISPF, and problem & change management.
  • Install and support program products, including tape management and job scheduling products, with advanced skills in JES2 and JES3.

Requirements:

  • Mainframe Security System ACF2 & RACF SME/Architect
  • 8 years' experience as a z/OS System Programmer
  • Knowledge of SMP/E and system utilities, ACF2, RACF, IO Gen (HCD), Assembler Language
  • Understanding of SYSPLEX concepts and familiarity with CPU keys (ordering, applying)
  • Experience working with vendors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Adaptation to standard client change management process
