We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Streetlight Foreman to join our team at Volker Stevin Contracting Ltd. in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of skilled workers and ensuring the successful completion of streetlight installation projects.

1. Supervise and Coordinate Crew Activities: Oversee the daily activities of your crew, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
2. Ensure Compliance with Contract Specifications: Verify that all work is carried out in accordance with contract requirements, including daily inspections and reporting.
3. Manage Resources and Equipment: Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available to maintain a steady workflow on the jobsite.
4. Develop and Maintain a Positive Work Environment: Foster good employee relations, provide training and development opportunities, and promote a culture of safety and respect.
5. Optimize Work Processes: Analyze and improve work procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
6. Ensure Quality and Safety Standards: Implement and maintain high-quality work standards, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
7. Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with colleagues, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

1. Minimum 5 Years' Experience: In the shallow utility construction industry, with a strong background in streetlight installation and maintenance.
2. High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required, with a preference for a degree in a related field.
3. Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License: With a clean driving record.
4. Standard First Aid Certificate: Valid and up-to-date.
5. Ground Disturbance Certificate: Valid and up-to-date.
