Building Science Technologist

A Building Science Technologist is sought to join the team at Pinchin. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in architectural or engineering principles. Become part of a vibrant and innovative culture within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Building and Property Condition Assessments for evaluation and strategic planning.
  • Analyze and finalize evaluations of current buildings and structures.
  • Execute all necessary quantity take-offs and measurements throughout project phases.
  • Draft comprehensive reports detailing findings and produce precise AutoCAD drawings.
  • Engage in financial oversight and coordination for various projects.
  • Uphold QA/QC protocols alongside health and safety regulations.
  • Undertake additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, or a degree in Architecture or Building Science.
  • Experience in conducting Building Condition Assessments.
  • Familiarity with UniFormat and asset management software.
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and building envelope components.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD software.
  • Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license.
