Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Edmonton. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing bids and tenders for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpretation and Analysis
    • Interpret isometric, engineering drawings to accurately estimate project costs.
  • Document Management
    • Maintain electronic and hard copy files related to project estimates.
  • Estimate Preparation
    • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, reports, and presentations to support bid preparation.
  • Research and Support
    • Retrieve information from various sources to support estimate preparation.
  • Bid Preparation and Tendering
    • Support the bid preparation and tendering process for construction projects.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in industrial construction estimating.
  • Education
    • Engineering Technology Diploma or Engineering Degree.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Knowledge of civil, concrete, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical disciplines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Aptitude for meeting strict timelines.
