About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Onesto Truck Lines Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
    • Perform emergency roadside repairs
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Cargo Management
    • Load and unload goods
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Communication
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Documentation
    • Driver logbook
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Will train
  • Green job
