We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Commercial Cleaner for a distribution center in Whitby. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, friendly demeanor, strong work ethic, and relevant cleaning experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all common areas within the facility, ensuring a consistently neat and sanitary environment.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize office spaces, including wiping down surfaces, disinfecting counters and tables, dusting furniture, and more.
  • Ensure breakrooms and lunchrooms are spotless by wiping down tables and chairs, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing sinks, toilets, hand dryers, and counters. Sweep and mop floors, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Operate ride-along and push-behind floor cleaning machines to effectively clean all floors throughout the building.
Requirements:
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial cleaning.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Commitment to assigned tasks and a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Prior experience operating floor scrubbers.
