About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at All Around Plumbing Heating & Gas Ltd. as a Plumbing Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our plumbers with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, mixing and pouring materials, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as pipes, fittings, and equipment.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix and pour materials such as concrete and asphalt, as required.
  • Assisting with Pipeline Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, ensuring that all connections are secure and leak-free.
  • Cleaning and Piling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring that they are properly stored and organized.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and inspecting equipment, and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Spill Response: Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, following established protocols to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring that the area is safe and clean.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
