Your Responsibilities- Participate in certification engagements and assist in the execution of audits.
- Prepare financial statements for individuals and corporations.
- Collaborate with senior auditors and directors to ensure audits comply with current standards.
- Contribute to special projects and develop innovative solutions to meet our clients' needs.
You'll excel in this role if you have:
- Completed your first year of a bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting.
- A completed or in-progress DESS in Accounting.
- CPA student member of the provincial regulatory body.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Office 365 suite.
- Basic knowledge of financial reporting and audit standards.
- Basic knowledge of taxation.
- Experience in accounting or assurance (an asset).
- Familiarity with CaseWare and TaxPrep software (an asset).
- Willingness to travel to perform audit work at our clients' locations.
