This role requires flexibility and a strong commitment to high-quality care, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform restricted activities
- Manage walk-in appointments
- Offer patient support and education
- Maintain accurate documentation
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will utilize nursing processes, teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, playing a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- Completion of CRNA Medication Management - Chapters and NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (if not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five years)
