About the Role:

A Residential Care Worker with Nexus Community Support Society is responsible for providing support and care to adults with diverse abilities in a residential setting. This is a casual position, and multiple positions are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as life skills training, meal preparation, and personal care.
  • Ensure the physical, emotional, social, recreational, economic, educational, and medical needs of residents are met.
  • Implement personal care plans and provide support to residents in achieving their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Requirements:

Applicants must have received the Covid-19 vaccination and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of the needs of adults with diverse abilities is essential.
