Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to join our team at Green Solutions Industries. As an Electrical Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including testing and observing conditions, troubleshooting, and repairing or replacing faulty components.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Machining and Fabrication: Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts, and perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
  • Welding and Brazing: Weld or braze components as needed.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide training on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Coil Installation and Testing: Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils, and test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
Work Environment

As an Electrical Mechanic at Green Solutions Industries, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to physical hazards.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical repair and maintenance.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
